Early 18th C important Louis XV console in wrougth iron and marble top, comprising 2 jambs with scrollwork and a central motive resting on a wooden base. The crossbars, slightly curved, are treated in frieze with repetitive patterns. The whole is decorated with gilded iron sheets with lilies, acanthus leaves and flowery lattice.
The original marble whose shape cuts follow the crossbars, looks like a “grey black with seashells from Izeste” (Pyrenees).
