He then went to Paris to enter the National School of Fine Arts. At the end of the 1950s, he was rewarded at the Salon des artistes français at the Grand Palais by receiving the Gold Medal for the portrait of a Spanish aristocrat. He lived in Vaucresson from 1934 until his death on April 13, 1978.
