A. Aucoc - Table Centerpiece in Sterling Silver Late 19th Century

Important centerpiece in solid silver represented by a covered tureen mounted on four winding feet and placed on its tray. Richly decorated with Bérain engravings, edging of gadroons, the side grips in the form of scrolls surmount masks, the lid with double coves with grip in the shape of a pine cone.
The oval tray, scalloped, edged with a gadroon, has the same Bérain engraving decoration on the upright.
Dimensions: Tureen long 39.5 cm - width 23 cm - height 28 cm
Tray: length 51 cm - width 40 cm - height 5.5 cm
