Important pair of candelabras with five sconces in finely chiseled, gilded and patinated bronze. Model with decorations of children supporting spears intertwined with ivy which hold the five finely twisted bronze sconces.
Positioned in contrapposto, our cherubs lean on a boar's head and a stag's head. The cylindrical pedestals in red "griotte de Campan" marble are surrounded by bronze laurel tori on rectangular counter-pedestals.
Extreme finesse of the carving.
Beautiful original mercury gilding with a matt and shiny double patina.
