Large Mahogany Desk Stamped JACOB

Large mahogany desk, rectangular top, covered with leather gilded with small iron and framed in mahogany, with gilt bronze gallery on three sides, the belt opening with two large drawers on the front and supported by feet in sheath with recessed angles; a sliding shelf on the left, covered with a leather gilded with a small iron and framed in mahogany.
Work circa 1815, stamped: JACOB, probably Henri Jacob (December 25, 1753 - December 2, 1824), Master September 29, 1779
