Its belt opens in front by three drawers and three simulated drawers on its back, inlaid with a frieze of interlacing with large flowers in rosewood and decorated with bronze rosettes on the angles of the crosspieces.
It rests on four sheath feet, inlaid with rosewood and amaranth, and ends with gilt bronze clogs.
Its leather top gilded with small iron is framed with amaranth veneer and a gilt bronze ingot mold.
Work attributed to Philippe Claude Montigny (1734 - June 26, 1800), received master on January 29, 1766.
