This desk is all faces, the richness of the bronzes, the double bolt locks, the choice of the flamed mahogany veneers, everything indicates a work of great quality for a specific order. A similar cylinder desk stamped SCHEY was sold at L'hôtel Drouot on July 17, 2020.
