French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
Interesting dressing table with transformation of the Empire period. It can also be used as a small console or serving table.
It opens with two side drawers and a drawer in front, the mirror is mobile (it remains at the desired height by a system of counterweights placed in the back legs). The front legs are beautifully carved in the shape of a lion's paw. We find this same kind of legs on various pieces of furniture delivered by Jacob frères and Jacob Desmalter -Palais du Luxembourg, Palais de Compiègne and the Tuileries-.
Condition report: restored in our workshop in September 2022. Very good condition. Antique glass but brought back.
