VOLLON Alexis
Born on May 12, 1865 in Paris and died in 1945. XIX-XXth centuries. French.
Painter of genre, figures, landscapes, engraver.
He was the pupil of Antoine Vollon, his father. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1885, where he was a member of the jury committee.
He received an honorable mention in 1885, a third class medal in 1888, a second class medal in 1889, a silver medal in 1900 at the World's Fair and was awarded the Legion of Honor in 1900.
