A pair of enamel and gold travelling cutlery.
Dutch, second half of the 17th century.
They each measures approximately 12.8cm long.
The handles are decorated with subjects that appear to portray good and evils.
The knife handle (good) depicts; a man camping with a large keg and his dog, a soldier training his horse and a priest administering alms to the poor.
The fork handle (evil) depicts; a duel, a man abusing his wife and a man being hanged.
