Its facade and its sides are inlaid with a decor of ruins and landscapes in sicomore tinged and amaranth evoking the painter Hubert Robert (Paris 1733-1808). It rests on four arched legs adorned with falls and bronze clogs.
Work from the Transition Louis XV/Louis XVI period attributed to André Louis Gilbert (1746-3rd april 1809), maître on the 20th july 1774.
