Carlo Bugatti (1855-1940) - Throne-chair - Art Nouveau

Blackened wood and mahogany throne-chair, inlaid with pewter, with a curved seat base and solid armrests on a lateral base with four small columns on each foot and a disc back covered with parchment, silk trimmings.



The backrest support bars are high columns with a copper ring with embossed decoration on one side and a small round plate with a fringed edge and a copper background on the other. The backrest is held in place by trimmings on both columns.

Armrests fringed with passementerie on both sides.
