Roman soldier, Augusto de PINELLI (1823-1892)

Episode of the Risorgimento, probably during one of the many military campaigns that led to the constitution of a unified Italy. 
Oil on canvas annotated in ink on the back of the frame "PINELLI", and a mark 717.
