Adrian de Gryef is a painter of landscapes and still lifes. He is probably the pupil of Frans Snyders. He married in 1689 in Antwerp. He was cited as a master in Brussels in 1699. He was the creator of small paintings with picturesque subjects depicting animals in open-air landscapes decorated with trees and flowers, most often lit by setting suns.
