Upper part
The two folding doors are spectacular with thair architectural view, civil fantasy with the central pilaster acting as a symmetry axis. The street with a diagonal pavement highlight the width of the view. The rich entablature is adorned with carved friezes as is the cornice. Gadroons and acanthus leaves hide the two drawers and brings high relief, thickness to this piece of furniture.
The lower part uses the sale view sith lighter column capitals. The cabinet sides also show perspective carved scene with a closer view. On the lower part sides the coffered ceilings balance the pavement depiction. The moulded plinth gives a certain sobriety to this rare french cabinet base.
