Important game table from the Régence period

Important game table in walnut wood, resting on four curved legs ending in deer hooves topped with foliage volutes.

It is carved in front of interlacing, foliage and branches of flowers framing in the center, a cartouche containing the number of the family sponsor of this furniture.

The side rails are carved with a leafy and flowery shell and the four shoulders of the jambs, of lambrequins.

It is topped with a thick grey veined Carrara marble top with a strong overhang.

Work of the south-east of France certainly Provencal of the early eighteenth century.
