Engraved in a circular thick orange carnelian, this male bust represents the features of an Hellenistic ruler. The diadem with floating ends, the arrangement of the hair strands, the very open eye under protruding and falling eyebrows, the rendering of the neck muscle, the way the bust is truncated, all these elements refer to the iconography of the Seleucid or Cappadocia princes.
