This 5 section inro is decorated with two peacocks , their feathers extending to the back and flowers, in takamaki and hiramaki-e with flecks of aogai. The inside is made of nashiji lacquer.
Signed Toshi with kakihan , active at the end of the 18th, early 19th Century .
Glass ojime.
Very good condition with minor chips.
