Important canopy from the 17th century

Important canopy carved and polychromed wood, decorated with a sky in the form of a dome covered with tiles in the form of scales, and holding on both sides a curtain surrounded by a cord.

This kind of console served as a niche and certainly allowed to receive a sculpture.

The red velvet and the gold thread trimmings are later.

Southern work of the XVIIth century.

Accidents and missing parts despite a good state of conservation.
