Ernst Seger
Born in Neurode / Silesia in 1868, died in Berlin in 1939
Important German sculptor and medalist.
From 1984 he studied sculpture at the Royal Art and Trade School in Wroclaw. In the late 80s he was already receiving orders for larger works. Between the years 1893 and 1894 he worked in the studio of Auguste Rodin in Paris and from 1895 he ran his own studio in Berlin.

By 1900 he was well known to everyone for his female nudes.
In 1938 he exhibited in Haus der Kunst in Munich at the major German art exhibition and was represented with three important works.
