18th Century, Italian Baroque Wood Laquered Consolle
This console table in carved and lacquered wood is a fine example of the baroque Venetian decorative repertoire.The four legs are characterized by an arched movement and the top is lacquered with faux marble.The refined console is a rare object for the colouring in red lacquer, quite unusual.Gold edging gives the object shine and refinement.Equally special for the era, is the sinuous and soft line that gives grace and lightness, extremely pleasant.
