Louis Eugène LAMBERT (1825-900) is a French painter specialized in animal representations. Some critics of the time nicknamed him the "Raphael of cats".
A student of Eugène Delacroix, he quickly decided to devote himself to cats and dogs.
His talent led him to become a member of the Watercolor Society from 1879 to 1896.
His paintings can be found in the greatest museums such as Luxxembourg in Paris, the British Museum
