Gaston HOFFMANN (1833-1977), a student at the Académie Julian and then at the Beaux-arts de Nancy, was a multi-faceted painter.
He also worked for the famous Daum factory in Nancy, with which he met with great success.
His production is large and very heterogeneous, but always of high quality, ranging from still life to more complex, even symbolist paintings.
