It is the appearance of the curve that first characterizes the Regency models. The curved line slowly but inexorably gains the whole of the good, as well on the feet as on the backs.

Another innovation characterizes the Regency seats: the seat frame becomes visible: first the belt (which is no longer hidden by a fringe) and the backrest.
