The virgin is shown seated and carries on her knees the body of Jesus in her arms.
The virgin and the Christ are expressive of pain.
The sculpture is intricately carved and the whole sculpure is very elegant.
The polychromy is lost, the linden wood is natural.
Some restorations in the garment of the Virgin and the right hand of Christ.
The Pieta comes from a private collection in Stuttgart Germany
