A beast with an attitude: very elegant Tudor oak Lion. Most probably from a newel post finial. Traces of wear on ears and nose but otherwise excellent condition (no xylophagi): warm dark colour and glowing patination (ca 1580-1600). Dimensions: 32x8x6cm.
