Very nice is the scene of the boy looking lovingly at the little monkey he trains in the circus where he works and this can be deduced from the dress he wears, the shoes reminiscent of those of Degas' dancers and the drum used to train the monkey . the scene is full of colors, tenderness and love.
François Reynaud is a French painter and designer born in 1825 in Marseille, died on March 9, 1909.
François Reynaud is a student of Augustin Aubert and Émile Loubon (he will leave a portrait of the second) at the École des beaux-arts in Marseille.
The features of François Reynaud are restored to us by his Self-portrait preserved in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille.
