French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
The cruet rests on four claw feet supporting an oval terrace thats perimeter is finely chiseled with water leaves. The receptacles are decorated with water leaves and supported by three balusters carried by dolphins. The grip is made up of three parts, one part of interlaced dolphins resting on a base decorated with heart-shaped, a column in finely chiseled sheath topped with a swan. A bayonet system makes it easy to remove the cups and cork holders.
Hallmarks:
Paris, 1st title (1809-1819).
Average guarantee.
Master silversmith: Philippe-Jean-Baptiste Huguet, got his hallmark in 1800.
The glassware is in a very good condition of conservation.
