Signed on the back Reinhold Felderhoff born in 1865 died in 1919
He was primarily known for his portrait busts, but he also made sculptures, his most famous work is the sculpture of Diana in the Kolonadenhof on the Museum Island in Berlin.
In 1917 he was appointed to professor at the Prussian Academy.
The representation of this bust is of the world- famous physicist Wilhelm Conrad born in 1845 died in 1923.
In 1895 Röntgen discovered the x-rays named after him, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. Another example of this bronze bust is in Remscheid in the house where W.C. Röntgen was born.
