The refined pair of wall lamps was made in France in the 19th century in chiselled and gilded bronze. The quality and design, particularly rare and unusual, is inspired by the styles Louis XIV and Louis XV. The central body of each applique has an ornament with phytomorphic motifs from which a protruding element composed of rich acanthus leaves departs. From this is inserted the figure of a winged putto half-torso holding three candleholder arms. Each arm is decorated with foliated elements. Particular is the presence of different bobeches that enliven the compositional structure: the two sides have an ornament with geometric designs, while the central one has a reserve with small ball motifs. The two wall lamps, mirror to each other, are characterized by a high quality chisel and an elegant scenic and decorative presence. They are suitable alongside antique and modern furnishings and thanks to the sheen of gilding will bring a refined presence in any environment you want to insert.
