This fine Piedmontese console table (northern Italy) is made of hand-carved wood, richly gilded with red lacquered background. It have a marble top presumably of the Pyrenees.
The refined console is a rare object for the colouring in red lacquer, quite unusual.

The neoclassical object has a pleasant line; the proportions and the massive size of the legs characterize the console that looks solid and vigorous. Gorgeous original patina.
The sophistication and comfortable dimensions of the console make it easy to insert in different environments of the house: ideal for a living room, an entrance or a room, it is a furniture of great impact and high decoration.
