Pair of Regency armchairs

We present two Regency period high back armchairs in natural wood covered with green velvet. As for the furniture, the Regence will lighten the silhouette.

If in our model the back remains high, the armrest is lowered compared to the Louis XIV armchair and the armrests and feet, again, adopt a discreet curve.
The X-shaped spacer disappears, making the seat more mobile and less solemn. The legs are adjusted to the angle of the crosspieces, which gives the chair a better balance.
The gilding is less appreciated except for the court chairs and the sculpture is less exuberant.
