Decorative art from 18th to 20th century
A pair of sodalite and ormolu vase cassolettes from which escapes a bouquet of flowered carnations forming a candlestick, first half of the 19th century.
The composition of the sodalite stone is very close lapis lazuli, it also look like it but the absence of pyrite does not give it the golden inclusions specific to lapis lazuli.
