The Swiss sculptor Pierre Blanc (1902-1986) lived in Paris between 1925 and 1939. He met among others François Pompon and the Martel brothers. He is renowned for animal art. Some pieces were produced in ceramic by the Sèvres Manufacture.
This head without numbering is certainly a special order.
