This water basin stood most probably in a courtyard or in public space and did not have any religious purpose: it was used to drink from (men and animals?), wash hands and face. Hence the decoration: there are 3 human heads on the corners (one of which has an opening in the mouth to evacuate the water) and one ram’s head. Gorgeous patina on heads and overall on exterior side of the stone. Country of origin is not clear: the granite stone could refer to Iberic insula or France. Heavy. Dimensions: 42x42x22cm.
