Painter of genre subjects, portraits, flowers.
Worked in Cincinnati and Paris. In 1890, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris.
He specialized until 1885 in the painting of flowers, then he devoted himself to the representation of Japanese and Venetian scenes.
