Moving sculpture of Christ on the cold stone, the moment after the Calvary and immediately before He will be crucified. Soft and tender face, the eyes downcast, His whole attitude and expression in full acceptance of what will happen in the next moments.
Some minor old restorations to parts of the rope and extremity of left foot. Reed (one of the instruments of torture) in right hand missing. Beautiful patina. Traces of xylophagi.
