Johannes bosschaert 1609-1650 (workshop) Flower arrangement in a basket Flemish school from the 17th century. Second son of the famous painter Ambrosius Bosschaert, he was directly influenced by his family circle, in particular his uncle Balthazar Van der AST Johannes Bosschaert specializes in floral compositions, favoring horizontal formats, still lifes mainly presented in baskets on entablatures. Many of his works are present in museums including a floral composition presented in a basket kept at the Louvre museum (see photo) Oil on oak panel with parquet flooring restoration of use and maintenance.
