A large and important Louis XVI gilt bronze mounted satiné and satiné bureau plat, the rectangular gilt tooled dark red leather-inset writing surface above three frieze drawers, each drawer decorated with a laurel wreath swag, the back of the bureau with satiné veneer, the front and back with gilt mounts above square tapering legs terminated by angular gilt bronze feet.
