French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
A frame armchair "à la Reine", stamped JEAN-BAPTISTE TILLIARD, Louis XV period, 18th century.
In richly carved walnut, the backrest with the motif of windings of acanthus leaves and florets, the amounts adorned with fine lattices and centered pellets, the armrests amounts to motif of climbing foliage, the belt centered of a rococo cartridge, resting on arched feet carved with stylized shells and terminated by an acanthus clip, trim of yellow silk lampas, stamped TILLIARD. Numbered IV. The property mark is fogged.
Jean-Baptiste Tilliard called Jean-Baptiste I, got his master in 1717.
Condition report: Very good condition. Screws (to maintain the chassis) changed. Wear of use to the fabric. Possibility to change the fabric (+ 600 euros)
