French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
Charming little secretary (lady's secretary) plated with satin, rosewood and amaranth, stamped Schlichtlig, Louis XVI period, 18th century. Classic model opening by a drawer belt, a flap discovering six small drawers and two leaves in its lower part. Amounts with cut sides. Ornamentation of chiseled and gilt bronzes. Gray marble of St. Anne on the top.
JG SCHLICHTIG, Jean-Georges SCHLICHTIG, got his Master in 1765. Conditions report: restored in our workshop in March-April 2019. Very nice condition. Marble restores, lower lock not original, missing the cabinet of the lower part, traces of old restorations.
