A pair of Consulate armchairs, beginning of the 19th century

Pair of "lion-headed" armchairs in mahogany and mahogany veneer of the Consulate - Empire period.
Forefeet "with claws", hind feet "saber", armrest console decorated with lion's heads. Yellow silk with placed patterns.

Various similar models, anonymous, are kept at the Mobilier National, on of them was commissioned for the Senate at the end of the 18th century.
Denise Ledoux Lebard also illustrates a model very close stamped Demay.

Condition report: restored in our workshop in March 2019, upholstered to new. Very good state of conservation
