French Furniture and Art Pieces of the 18th century and Empire period
Large dresser opening with five drawers, veneer of amaranth and rosewood.
Work of transition style (because "transition" is not a period but only a style) of the Louis XV period. Stamped J. Stumpff, Jean-Chrysostome Stumpff (1731-1806) got his master on August 27, 1766. JME (punch of Jug).
Gray and white veined red marble top.
Conditions report: restored by Atelier Dubarry in May-June 2018. Buffer varnish. Falls, hooves and apron are not original.
