The rectangular top above a panelled frieze-drawer enclosing a fitted interior with a hinged mirror, flanked by two compartments with tambour covers revealing once lifted other compartments, and incorporating a drawer with a sliding and foiling writing –surface, under a small drawer with a secret side drawer, on four square tapering legs terminating in giltbronze sabots.
