Offered by Blue Antique - Enzo Gironi
Sold in pairs
A set of four large lamps, or floor lamps, born of a collaboration between Gae Aulenti and Raul Gardini, the famous Italian entrepreneur (1933 - 1993).
The collaboration between Raul Gardini and Gae Aulenti dates back to the first half of the 1980s, when the architect designed the interiors of the sailing yacht Il Moro, and has continued over time in various fields, including fine vases following Raul Gardini's acquisition of the historic Vetreria Sizi.
In 1989, inspired by Eva herself, Gae Aulenti designed a floor lamp for Raul Gardini in Kevlar and aluminum, 245 cm high and 29 cm wide.
Ten examples were produced, but there was no series production, even afterwards. Today, the 10 lamps are distributed as follows:
2 at the Gardini Foundation in Ravenna,
2 in the Gardini family homes,
2 in the Angelini collection in Rome,
4 in our possession
