A pair of Neolithic earthenware handled cups in a "beer mug" form

The cups were made during the Majiayao culture, Machang period, ca. 3000 BC. They represent the hight aesthetics of ceramics and life quality in the Chinese Neolithic time. They are in the exact form as a German beer mug in a modern life. The cups are burnished and painted with geometric motifs, which are originated from nature, such as fish, fish net, flower, leaf.
