Set of four 18th century Queen's armchairs

Beautiful set of four Louis XV period armchairs ''à la Reine'' in molded beech, richly carved with acanthus leaves and flowers on the belts, shoulders and ogee backs.
The armrests with cuffs rest on whiplash recessed consoles that contribute to the harmony of the whole.
These armchairs rest on an elegantly arched base whose moldings join those of the scalloped crosspieces. The feet are elegantly remounted with acanthus leaves.
Pretty petit point tapestry upholstery with plant decoration (in-house condition)
