Salon set in gilded wood and Aubusson tapestry, France circa 1800

Louis XV style living room set in gilded wood including a sofa and four armchairs in Aubusson tapestry. The base is composed of fluted and tapered legs. The curved armrests are decorated with acanthus leaves and gadroons. The backrest is in medallion, decorated with sculpted foliage. The Aubusson tapestry upholstery is different on each piece of the living room. Romantic decoration on the sofa, animal and landscape decoration on the armchairs. This living room will add elegance and charm to any room. The gilding, in good general condition, has some scratches and redness, which show through, which adds character to the living room. The tapestry is also in good condition, presence of wear on the back of the backs (see photos). Made in France around 1800, this rare set is in its original condition. The set can accommodate up to 6 people The sofa measures 130 cm in length, 59 cm in depth and 98 cm in height. The armchairs measure 95 cm in height, 59 cm in length and 50 cm in depth. Seat height of 43 cm
