Netsuke – boxwood representing the couple Shoki and Oni, Shoki merchant, his sword in hand. The little fighting Oni demon perched on the large Oni hat. Nice sculpting details. Missing the hilt of Shoki's saber. Signed on the back Hidemasa. Height: 5.8 cm. Japan Edo (1603-1868) 19th century.
