Ewer with very rare topographical decoration representing the centre of the town of VESOUL in a large medallion with inscriptions in platinum, signed HOURY ‘Ingr _ Vérif. 1813’. (verifying engineer)
The various districts and streets are named: ‘les vigne de la Motte, Jardins à Mr.Rétoré, Jardin à Mr.Palouret, Maison à Mr.Juif, Rue des annonciades, hôtel de Ville, Jardin des Collèges ...’.
In a matte and bright gold frame of horns of plenty and swans joined by garlands of flowers and fruit on a pink background with metallic lustre.
Marked on the reverse, ‘Fab’ de porcelaine de G.Van Dertaelen à Paris 1813’.
